Doctrine - "Play"

Stumbling across new music is one of the best feelings there is, as the potential is there that you've heard the first song of a band that may one day have a long and storied career. And with the internet, there is an almost non-stop flow of new things to discover every single day. 

The latest such new band to catch my ear is Doctrine, with their debut single "Play". "Play" is somehow both incredibly simplistic and remarkably complex, with more layering being revealed the further into the song you get. At its core, it is a electronic track with orchestral overtones and haunting vocals that make for something incredibly unique. That's how you get the internet's attention.
