Broke For Free - "Add And"
Here's a nice little diddy for your Friday afternoon. Oakland's Broke For Free has finally released his newest album, Pearl, after teasing it for the better part of a year. The whole album relaxes your mood (with a couple of exceptions) but I think that “Add And” is probably the premiere example of how well Broke For Free can encapsulate an entire season (hint: it's summer) into a perfectly instrumented and balanced song. I'm listening to this at work, but all I can think about is sitting on a hammock on a beach watching the sun set.
